Benrus makes a comeback with Steve McQueen's watch.

Benrus is back. More than 100 years after its founding, the New York-based watchmaker is making a fresh start – and bringing back Steve McQueen's classic from Bullitt. Watches from the United States with Swiss precision – with this concept, Benrus rose to become one of the leading watch manufacturers in the United States after World War I. The company was founded in 1921 in Manhattan and impressed with its combination of classic American design and movements from La Chaux-de-Fonds. Over time, the young brand gained more and more prominent customers. One of them was Hollywood star Steve McQueen, who immortalised his Benrus on screen. Now, there's a comeback – with the Benrus #3061 BU.

Benrus reinterprets a classic

Benrus is celebrating its comeback with new editions of four watches that shaped the first chapter of the company's history. The new Benrus #3061 BU (reference: 3061-SS-B-039-01) is attracting the most attention at the launch. The original once belonged to Steve McQueen and was worn by him in the movie “Bullitt”. The watchmakers have carefully modernized the model and adapted it to the demands of watch lovers in the 21st century.
