We are excited to be featured in the Financial Times’ new article “Is your watch fighting fit? The military-style field watch is back. Nick Foulkes wants a piece of the action.”

When Benrus restarted production of a watch worn by US soldiers in Vietnam, it was important that its appearance remained as close as possible to the original. “Reissuing our military watches isn’t about nostalgia, it’s about stewardship,” says Darius Solomon, senior vice-president of operations at Benrus. “The DTU‑2A/P wasn’t a style exercise but a response to the US Defence Department’s MIL‑W‑3818B specification.
