BENRUS Returns to La Chaux-de-Fonds — A New Chapter Begins

As featured in ArcInfo, BENRUS proudly announces its return to La Chaux-de-Fonds, where the American brand once had a strong presence from 1927 to 1969.

Following a successful presentation at the Time to Watches fair in Geneva (April 1–6), BENRUS revealed its plans to open a new office on Rue Numa-Droz. “We are currently assembling our team,” shared Ion Schiau, one of the driving forces behind the brand’s revival in Switzerland.

The new La Chaux-de-Fonds office will oversee product development, marketing, sales, and logistics — marking a strategic move to reconnect with the brand’s historic roots in Swiss watchmaking. This return also brings renewed attention to Alice Christian, a pioneering woman who led the original BENRUS branch in the city from 1927, and whose legacy is being rediscovered today.

With a new collection that merges iconic design and contemporary performance, BENRUS is once again ready to make history — from La Chaux-de-Fonds to the world.
