The Benrus DTU-2A/P has been featured in Acquire Magazine, which highlights the reissue's appeal for those considering a smaller watch.
"Benrus might make you consider a smaller watch with the reissue of the DTU-2A/P. The watch stays true to the original 34mm case diameter from the 1960s and matches it with a brown leather bund strap for a classic and flattering look on any wrist. The case is constructed out of 316L stainless steel with a sandblasted finish and it's equipped with a double domed sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating.
The classic field watch dial also references the original model and the markers and hands have been treated with BW G9 Super-LumiNova. Inside the watch is an ETA 2671 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Other features worth noting is a water resistance of 10 ATM/330 ft, closed case back with MIL-SPEC-style engravings, and a green NATO strap is also included."
