SHOP NOW"THE 1960S GOLDEN AGE OF SCUBA DIVING"
The 1960’s was considered the golden age of scuba diving and BENRUS responded with a line of robust dive watches under the Ultra-Deep name. Honoring this heritage, the BENRUS Ultra-Deep returns with the most highly sought-after vintage design re-purposed for today.
SERIES #3061
"TIME STARTS NOW"
In the 1960’s BENRUS released the original Series #3061 watch - a civilian variation on the military issued DTU-2AP field watch.
We're excited to announce the relaunch of the BENRUS Series #3061 for a modern audience, staying very true to the original but with some updates. Now measuring 39.5mm x 48mm x 12mm, the satin brushed steel case has more wrist presence and it comes mounted to a 20mm black leather rally strap.

ALL COLLECTIONS"Anyone interested in wrist watch history cannot remove the importance of military and diving watches from the equation, and thus models like the Benrus Type 1 are a very purist-friendly way to enjoy one of history’s greatest tool watches."
"Few American watch brands are in the same league with the military history that BENRUS has, and even fewer are still operational."
"The heritage factor is strong with the Type I. After all, this is what many U.S. service members wore into combat in Vietnam and during the formative test flights that created modern fighter jets."
"The Benrus Type 1 LE wowed me right out of the box – partly thanks to the nostalgia rush, sure, but also thanks to the fact that it just looks and feels more like a solidly built field watch than most of the other field watches I've taken for test drives."
"A note-for-note remake (or nearly so) of a watch was only ever issued to the spooky set, the new Benrus Type 1 Limited Edition will give you that military feel without actually having to go through Basic Training."
"The reissue of the Type I, which is limited to just 1,000 pieces, is in most respects very faithful to its historical forebear."
